Get the look- Charli XCX

Hi :)
I absolutely love Charli XCX she has such a unique sound and style to match.
Today I'm going to 'attempt' (:3) to run down her style.
Enjoy!

Charli's style is edgy but she still manages to be girly with A-line skirts, dresses and pops of colour.
She said in a recent interview (http://bullettmedia.com/article/charli-xcx-on-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly-of-pop-stardom/) that she's always admired 90's fashion (from the spice girls to more recently tailoring).

Tartan/Plaid Skirts
Charli is often seen wearing tartan or plaid skirts, as seen above she often pairs them with a plain crop top.

Graphic
Charli also often wears a lot of graphic or patterned clothes for example this long-sleeved crop and leggings duo that she wears in her video You (Ha Ha Ha).

Platform Sneakers
Charli has admitted on several occasions that she has a slight obsession with platform sneakers, she says it's because they're comfortable and easy to walk in.

Hair
Charli almost always sports a messy, teased wavy hairstyle, she has also been seen with coloured extensions in her hair.

Weeeeeeeeeell, I hope this has helped even just a little bit!
Thanks for reading.
Xx

P.S. Enjoy Charli's video What I Like

My Christmas List

Hey :)

As the countdown to Christmas day slowly decreases I thought what better first post than my list for Christmas!

Princess Polly- Sunny skies skater skirt $50
http://www.princesspolly.com.au/Sunny-Skies.aspx?p49474&colourid=131
I personally think that skater skirts are really flattering on all body shapes and this one is so cute. The colours are also perfect for Summer :)

Arctic Monkey's band tee- $17.99
http://www.etsy.com/listing/164999344/hot-arctic-monkeys-premium-logo-printed?ref=shop_home_active
I don't normally wear band merchandise as I think it can look tacky, but I've been a huge fan of the Arctic Monkeys for a while now and I thought this was a nice shirt and it's not too over-the-top like some other band merchandise. Also as it's a mens fit it will be oversized and I think it will be good for casual days/ lounging around.

Adidas Adipure Trainer- (On sale) Rebel Sport $60
This is a bit of a cheat as I already know that I'm getting these because I had to try them on before they were bought. We got a great deal at a Rebel sport outlet centre and they were about half off I believe. I wore through my old sneakers (Nike Training In Season Tr 2) after about a year and a half and am looking forward to trying these new ones out.

Princess Polly- Celebrate playsuit $50
http://www.princesspolly.com.au/Celebrate.aspx?p50705&colourid=4
This playsuit is so cute and great for putting over swimmers etc. It comes in pink and aqua.

Real Techniques- Stippling brush $10
http://realtechniques.com/shop-collection/your-finish-perfected/stippling-brush
I've been needing a stippling brush for AGES now after using my fingers for years (whoops). I've heard amazing things about this brush and brand in particular but I've never tried them and am hoping they live up to the reviews.

So that's my Christmas list this year, what are you asking for?
